Uniphore buys UK-based voice specialist Red Box

Uniphore, a US-based conversational automation technology company, has acquired Red Box, a UK-based voice specialist, to strengthen its footprint in Europe.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Uniphore adds Red Box to its innovation portfolio that includes no code low code development, emotion AI, and knowledge AI.

Uniphore also anticipates to improve the capabilities of the Uniphore X platform through the transaction.

Red Box is an open enterprise platform for capturing voice, screen, and metadata from conversations in real-time and post call.

Conversa by Red Box is an open microservices-based enterprise voice platform and provides customers with end-to-end data sovereignty and open access to the most extensive ecosystem of major AI voice technologies across the globe.

In April 2022, Uniphore acquired Colabo, an AI-powered knowledge automation solution that extracts and uses information from structured and unstructured documents in real time.
