RPG Group’s KEC International clinches orders worth Rs 1,007cr

KEC International Ltd., the global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) titan under the RPG Group Company banner,  announced a whopping acquisition of new orders amounting to Rs. 1,007 crores across its diversified business verticals.

In a major leap within the Civil sector, KEC International has bagged a distinguished order that encompasses the Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of a state-of-the-art Multispeciality Hospital, set to be a landmark in India.

Over in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) domain, the company has achieved a significant breakthrough by procuring a prime order for a 380 kV Overhead Transmission line project. This is notably slated for the competitive Middle East market, reflecting the company’s ever-growing international prowess.

Adding another feather to its cap, the Cables division has managed to secure orders for supplying a diverse array of cables both within India and on international shores.

The company’s top brass, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., expressed his elation on this achievement. He remarked, “It’s heartening to witness such a consistent inflow of orders, particularly in our T&D and Civil segments. Strategically, our Civil business has scaled new heights by marking its footprint in the Multispeciality Hospital construction space in Eastern India.

“Concurrently, the T&D order from the Middle East serves as a testament to our robust positioning in the global T&D arena. To put things into perspective, our Year-to-Date order intake has catapulted to a record-shattering Rs. 5,500 crores. This is a commendable surge, showcasing a growth of approximately 15% when juxtaposed with the previous year.”
