KEC International bags INR 1,373cr orders across multiple domains

KEC International, an RPG Group Company and a significant player in the Indian infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) industry, has reported securing new orders amounting to INR 1,373 crores in various sectors including railways, civil, transmission & distribution (T&D), and cables.

The major portion of these orders has been secured domestically, however, significant contracts have also been won in the Americas. These orders highlight KEC International’s broad industry appeal and its ability to handle diverse projects across different geographic locations.

In the railway sector, the company has successfully obtained orders in both technologically enabled and conventional/emerging segments. This includes orders for Signalling & Telecommunication for Automatic Block Signaling (ABS) systems and contracts for 2 x 25 kV Overhead Electrification (OHE) & associated works aimed at speed upgradation for Semi High-Speed Rails.

The company’s civil business sector also recorded success, having secured orders for residential and commercial building projects within India.

In the T&D sector, KEC International won orders for projects based in India and the Americas. This includes a 400 kV Transmission line order in India, along with orders for the supply of towers both in India and the US. Its subsidiary, SAE Towers, also secured orders for supplying towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

The cable business arm of the company also reported a surge in new orders for various types of cables from both India and overseas markets.

Overall, this massive order inflow across different sectors stands as a testament to KEC International’s robust position in the EPC market and its ability to cater to a wide range of infrastructural needs across the globe.

“Our Civil business continues to witness an exponential growth trajectory which is reflected in the orders secured. The repeat order in T&D from an existing private developer reaffirms the growth of the India T&D business. We are also witnessing a good traction in the tower supply orders, especially in North America.”
