Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, a global leader in beverage alcohol distribution, has finalized its acquisition of Horizon Beverage Group, Inc., one of New England’s most prominent alcohol distributors. This strategic move extends Southern Glazer’s operations into Massachusetts and Rhode Island, making these the 46th and 47th states in its growing U.S. portfolio, alongside existing operations in Canada and the Caribbean.

The integration, effective immediately, brings Horizon’s comprehensive wine, spirits, and beer portfolio under the banner of Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company. Horizon’s long-standing reputation and regional expertise will now blend with Southern Glazer’s advanced technological capabilities and extensive resources, promising significant enhancements for suppliers and customers alike.

Wayne E.
