KEC International bolsters global EPC presence with Rs 1,175cr new orders

KEC International Ltd., an eminent global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) major and a key entity of the RPG Group, has announced the acquisition of new orders totaling Rs. 1,175 crores across its diverse business segments. This development underscores KEC International’s robust position in the global infrastructure domain and its commitment to contributing to infrastructure growth in India and beyond.

The T&D segment has seen significant wins, with orders for 765 kV Transmission line projects and a 765 kV GIS Substation in India from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). Additionally, the segment has secured an order for the supply of Transmission Hardware in the Americas. These projects highlight KEC International’s expertise and capacity to handle large-scale infrastructure projects, reinforcing its leadership position in the T&D sector.

In the civil sector, KEC International has expanded its portfolio with a new order in the residential building segment within India. This order, from a leading real estate developer, signifies the company’s growing footprint and its ability to deliver high-quality civil infrastructure projects.

The company’s foray into the renewable energy sector is further solidified with a new order for solar projects in India. This order from a leading auto-ancillary company showcases KEC International’s commitment to supporting India’s renewable energy ambitions and its versatility in handling projects across various sectors of infrastructure.
