Hinduja Global Solutions to acquire TekLink International and uKnowva
Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) has announced the acquisitions of Illinois-based TekLink International and India-based uKnowva in a move to expand its digital capabilities.
The India-based customer experience (CX) services provider has signed a deal to acquire TekLink International, a financial planning and analytics service provider, for $58.8 million. This deal is likely to close in the next couple of months.
TekLink International, which is headquartered in Warrenville, also has a footprint in Europe and delivery centers located in Hyderabad and Indore.
It is said to support more than 60 clients, including a major food manufacturer, a global beverages major, and an American multinational confectionery.
Hinduja Global Solutions said that the acquisition of TekLink International will bolster its digital solutions business through the addition of enhanced expertise in developing data platforms, financial planning, and analytics.

To acquire uKnowva, which is a digital human resources management system (HRMS) product business, Hinduja Global Solutions has inked a non-binding letter of intent (LoI) with Convergence IT Services. The financial terms of the possible deal have not been disclosed.
uKnowva is a cloud-based SaaS platform which is said to make use of intelligent software for helping midsize and growing companies with human capital management, automation, and collaboration.
The HRMS products business has more than 75 employees in India, who support more than 300,000 users across more than 80 clients. Its acquisition is expected to generate technology synergies with the existing human resource outsourcing (HRO)/ payroll and finance and accounting (F&A) business of Hinduja Global Solutions, that supports several clients with primarily HR operations related activities in India and the Middle East.

Recently, Hinduja Global Solutions completed the acquisition of the digital media business of NXTDIGITAL in India.
