ECD Auto Design acquires Brand New Muscle Car assets to expand portfolio
ECD Auto Design (Nasdaq: ECDA), renowned as the world’s largest Land Rover and Jaguar restoration company, has announced a significant expansion of its operations with the acquisition of certain assets from Brand New Muscle Car. This move, valued at $1.25 million in restricted ECD stock, marks ECD’s first acquisition as a publicly traded entity and broadens its offering to include custom classic American muscle cars, such as the iconic Ford Mustang.
The acquisition will introduce a third production line to ECD’s expansive 100,000-square-foot facility in Kissimmee, Florida. Production of the newly added classic Ford Mustangs and other American muscle cars is set to begin in May, with expectations to roll out the first new product by August. Scott Wallace, CEO of ECD Auto Design, expressed enthusiasm about the venture: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to design and build some of the most iconic muscle cars in history through our unique and industry-leading client design process.”
Wallace also highlighted the strategic importance of tapping into the classic car ecosystem, which represents an addressable market of approximately $15 billion. By entering one of the largest models within this space, ECD aims to enhance its presence among restomod enthusiasts and leverage its expertise in luxury vehicle restoration to include American classics.
ECD Auto Design, trading under the ticker ECDA on the Nasdaq, is celebrated for its bespoke luxury vehicle creations that meld classic English beauty with modern performance. The company specializes in the restoration of Land Rover Defenders, Land Rover Series IIA, Range Rover Classics, and Jaguar E-Types.
