Wipro signs five-year agreement with Nokia for digital transformation

Wipro has entered into a new five-year strategic engagement with Nokia with an aim to drive digital transformation as well as efficiencies in global business services.

The new agreement adds to a partnership that began originally more than 20 years ago, said Wipro.

As part of the new agreement, the Indian IT services giant will be delivering global business services in support of the renewed operating model of Nokia with a focus on process optimization, touchless processing, improved user and customer experience in finance, order management supply chain, and accounting operations.

For Nokia, the agreement is said to be a big step towards digitalization of its operations by tapping Wipro transformation and innovation capabilities.

Rod Lindsay — Nokia Global Business Services Vice President said: “We have selected Wipro as our long-term partner to support Nokia GBS’ service delivery transformation over the next five years. This marks a significant milestone in our journey aimed at delivering tangible benefits to Nokia Business Groups through a unified service desk, seamless service integration, improved transparency and performance of GBS.”
