PVR to set up eight-screen multiplex at M3M India’s 65th Avenue mall

PVR Limited and real estate developer M3M India signed an agreement to set up an eight-screen multiplex at the latter’s 65th Avenue shopping mall in South Gurugram.

Spread over 14 acres, the 65th Avenue mall was constructed with a top-line of INR 4,000 crores.

M3M India’s 65th Avenue shopping mall will have Reliance Trends, Pantaloons, Bikaner, Derika, Max Fashion, Headmasters, Mastizone, Smaaash, and Home Town among others as its tenants.

Sanjeev Bijli — PVR Limited Joint Managing Director said: “As part of our expansion plan, we have been looking to set-up an ultra-modern and state-of-the-art 8-screen multiplex at a prime property in South Gurugram. The 65thAvenue has impressed us a lot in terms of architecture and designing and also the location.

“It has a huge potential and is expected to cater to about half a million population in the vicinity. We have gone ahead and signed the agreement and looking forward to present the best of movie experience.”

Currently, PVR operates 860 screens at 179 properties across 73 cities in India and Sri Lanka.

Last month, the Indian film exhibition company had opened a four-screen property in the Narsipatnam, Visakhapatnam district under the name PVR Sreekanya Narsipatnam.
