Hero Motocorp breaks records with 4.60 lakh bikes and scooters sold in November
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer leader, reported impressive sales figures for November 2024. The company achieved 459,805 unit sales, underscoring its dominance in the two-wheeler market. This performance reflects Hero MotoCorp innovation in both traditional and electric segments.
The company is strengthening its premium motorcycle portfolio and expanding its VIDA electric vehicles (EV) lineup. By introducing new models across internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric segments, Hero MotoCorp sales are expected to maintain their upward trajectory, supported by favourable economic conditions and rising consumer confidence.
Record-breaking festive performance
The festive season significantly boosted Hero MotoCorp sales. During the 32-day festive period starting from Navratri, the company achieved record-breaking festive performance, selling over 1.6 million units. This represents a 13% growth compared to 2023, driven by strong demand for both ICE motorcycles and VIDA electric vehicles. VIDA alone registered retail sales of 11,600 units during the season, while the Harley-Davidson X440 sold over 2,800 units.
The expanding VIDA network, supported by Hero Premia and Hero 2.0 outlets, has played a crucial role in sustaining the brand’s market share. Hero MotoCorp innovation in customer outreach ensures continued growth, particularly in the EV segment.
Global market growth and premium offerings
Hero MotoCorp also achieved robust global market growth, with exports rising by 36% in November 2024 compared to the previous year. To reinforce its global presence, the company showcased its premium motorcycle portfolio and VIDA electric vehicles at EICMA 2024. Highlights included the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, Karizma XMR 250, and VIDA Z electric scooter. These models cater to diverse customer preferences, from off-road adventurers to urban eco-conscious riders.

In line with its vision to revolutionise mobility, Hero MotoCorp launched the “Hero For Startups” (HFS) initiative. The program focuses on funding startups that demonstrate the potential to innovate in the automotive industry. This move not only highlights Hero MotoCorp innovation but also positions the company as a pioneer in shaping the future of mobility.
