Located in Brazil, Boston Metal’s facility signifies a significant step towards fostering a circular economy within the metals industry. The company is already preparing for the next phase of its operations in Brazil, which includes expanding the local workforce from 80 to over 250 employees in the upcoming years. Furthermore, Boston Metal has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to establish a chromium metal manufacturing plant in Weirton, West Virginia. This initiative aims to onshore the production of materials critical to various industries, including aerospace, chemical processing, and nuclear sectors, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in metal production.
