BMW Group India launches BMW X3 M40i car in India at Rs 86.5 lakhs
BMW Group India has announced the limited launch of the BMW X3 M40i car in India, which can be booked exclusively at the BMW Online Shop at an ex-showroom price of INR 86,50,000.
The first BMW X3 M40i on sale in India is a fully built-up model.
Its M TwinPower Turbo three-litre six-cylinder engine is said to ensure top-quality and reliable mobility. The petrol engine is in-line and has a power output of 265kW/360hp as well as a maximal torque of up to 500Nm and an rpm of 1,900-5,000.
The BMW X3 M40i car is able to go from 0-100km/h in only 4.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 250km/hr.
The eight-speed automated Steptronic sport transmission is able to perform effortless, nearly invisible gear shifts. Any time, in any setting, the transmission is in sync flawlessly with engine performance, allowing it to maximize its performance and effectiveness. To make driving more enjoyable it comes with paddle shifters for the steering wheel and cruise control with brake function, and automatic differential brakes (ADB) with electronic differential locks that are normal.
BMW xDrive, an intelligent all-wheel drive system monitors the driving conditions and quickly responds to maximize agility, traction, and stability.
BMW X3 M40i is a sporty vehicle and is claimed to have a precisely measured combination of performance, comfort, and efficiency, all accompanied by the highest level of daily usability. An attractive exterior design, an electrified engine performance, and excellent handling highlight the outstanding performance that is built into BMW’s X3 M40i.
The first-ever BMW X3 M40i car in India is available in metallic paintworks of Brooklyn Grey and Black Sapphire. It comes with the unique Sensatec Perforated upholstery in Black.
The exterior style of BMW X3 M40i ensures a higher emphasis on sportiness as well as “X-ness”. The unique BMW M kidney grille bears the traditional M double grille bars, in high-gloss black sporting the M logo. The front has dynamic LED headlights and Matrix functions. Its M Shadow Line lights offer a dark shade over the headlamps.

The aerodynamically optimized M exterior mirrors are finished in high-gloss black. The free-form tailpipe trims, in black chrome, and an eye-catching “Two Teeth” design ensure an edgy look. The mirrors are equipped by M High Gloss Shadow Line M High Gloss Shadow Line with a variety of features that extend such as the window graphics and roof rails, frames along with the bands that form the BMW kidney grille are completed in high-gloss, black.
The BMW X3 is equipped as standard by 20-inch M alloy light alloys with double-spoke 699M and mixed tires, 245/45 R20 in the front, and 245/45 R20 on the back. M Sport brakes come featuring red brake calipers.
The interior offers a high level of comfort and efficiency with a modern and contemporary ambiance. The front and driver are able to enjoy the superb sporty look of a high-end SAV. The M interior trim finishes Carbon Fibre creates a unique motorsports-inspired experience in the cabin of the BMW X3 M40i car.
BMW Safety technology includes the use of six airbags. It also has an antilock braking system (ABS) with brake assist, attentiveness aid, dynamic stability control (DSC) comprising dynamic traction control (DTC), cornering brake control (CBC) and an electric parking brake, auto hold, side-intercept safety, electronic vehicle immobilizer, crash sensors, dynamic brake lights ISOFIX child seat mount, and an integrated emergency spare wheel beneath the floor of the vehicle.
