Birla Corporation inaugurates wall putty plant in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh

Birla Corporation Limited, the flagship company of the MP Birla Group, has inaugurated a white cement-based wall putty plant in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh.

The wall putty factory is owned by Birla Corporation’s fully-owned subsidiary — RCCPL Private Limited. It has a production capacity of 1.5 lakh tonnes per year.

Birla Corporation said that it had wrapped up construction of the wall putty plant in Maihar within nine months from the ground breaking event held on 3 June 2021.

The Maihar wall putty factory will supply the product to the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, as well as parts of Rajasthan and West Bengal.

Birla Corporation has been in the wall putty business for the last three years under the brand name — PERFECT PLUS WALL PUTTY, which is a water repellent wall putty.

Last month, Birla Corporation had inaugurated the Mukutban cement plant in Maharashtra, which is also owned by RCCPL Private Limited.
