(NASDAQ: WDAY), a leader in enterprise management solutions, announced an expansion of their partnership. This collaboration is set to enhance generative artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, innovate customer experiences, and propel joint go-to-market initiatives aimed at accelerating cloud transformations for customers.

Under the expanded partnership, AWS and Workday will focus on developing generative AI tools to revolutionize how organizations manage human resources and financial assets. Shane Luke, Vice President of Product and Engineering and Head of AI and ML at Workday, emphasized the synergy between Workday AI and AWS, stating, “This partnership enables us to deliver AI features to our customers faster and more efficiently, focusing on enterprise data integration in Workday applications with the support of AWS’s tools and services.”

Leveraging AWS Technology for AI Development

Workday will utilize AWS technologies, including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, to build AI-driven applications. These technologies will help streamline operations such as generating job descriptions, analyzing contracts for accurate revenue reporting, and creating personalized employee talent highlights. Additionally, Workday is collaborating with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center to explore new applications of AI and enhance large language model performance through responsible AI practices and model management.

Expanding Developer Integrations and Custom Applications

The partnership also extends to native integrations, enabling Workday developers to use AWS technologies to create custom applications. By integrating AWS services like AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, and Amazon Comprehend with Workday Extend, developers can build tailored applications that improve operational efficiency and adapt to changing business needs.

Joint Go-to-Market Initiatives

To further their market reach, Workday and AWS will invest in joint sales strategies and marketing efforts. These initiatives are designed to boost Workday customer acquisition, promote Workday solutions on the AWS Marketplace, and support Workday customers using AWS to achieve minimal downtime and comply with regional data laws.
