Persistent Systems strengthens collaboration with AWS for generative AI services

In pursuit of its objective to enhance developer productivity, Persistent Systems will empower its 16,000-plus engineering organization with Amazon CodeWhisperer, enabling them to expedite the development of industry applications for enterprise clients while maintaining robust security measures.

Leveraging CodeWhisperer’s training on billions of lines of code, Persistent Systems engineers will be able to generate code with comments or existing code, streamlining development tasks and accelerating the creation of new solutions.

Over the past decade, Persistent Systems has steadily expanded its association with AWS. As a trailblazer in democratizing access to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, AWS plays a pivotal role in making Generative AI easily accessible, secure, and cost-effective for clients.

This comprehensive suite of solutions encompasses Amazon CodeWhisperer, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Titan FMs, along with purpose-built chips for ML training (AWS Trainium) and inference (AWS Inferentia), offering highly cost-efficient options for training models and running inference in the cloud.
