Wipro roped in as technology partner by German aluminium firm Speira

Wipro said that it has been roped in as a technology partner by Speira, a German aluminium rolling and recycling company.

Speira was founded last year following Norsk Hydro Group’s sale of its rolling business to KPS Capital Partners.

It has seven manufacturing plants and a research and development (R&D) center across Germany and Norway.

Wipro said that during the next five years, it will work to bolster the technology infrastructure and cybersecurity needs of Speira as it launches a journey steered by a three-pronged focus centered on sustainability, innovation, and development of new products.
