Wipro, Cisco tie up to offer hybrid cloud as-a-service

Indian IT giant Wipro has partnered with US-based Cisco Systems to speed up digital transformation for its customers by offering a hybrid cloud as-a-service.

With the partnership, Wipro customers will be able to deploy Wipro FullStride Cloud Service to enable a fully automated hybrid-cloud stack, which will help in reducing the time consumed in implementations as well as improve customer experience.

Wipro and Cisco Systems intend to develop an agile, programmable, and adaptable hybrid cloud solution by integrating the edge, private, and public clouds.

The full-stack IT-as-a-service platform will provide enterprises with a range of integrated and fully managed services for their network infrastructure, hybrid cloud, security, and applications.

It will leverage technology from across Cisco System’s Full Stack Observability solution including AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Cisco Workload Optimization Manager (CWOM), Intersight, and Secure Application.

The new platform is expected to help enterprises gain significant cost optimizations, apart from offering real-time visibility and insights.
