VNS Health has expanded its presence in Western New York through the acquisition of Medicaid Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) plan members from Kalos Health. This strategic move, effective from 1 December 2024, is set to improve long-term care services for nearly 1,000 members who have transitioned under VNS Health’s comprehensive healthcare plans. The acquisition aligns with provisions from the 2023–2024 New York State Budget and was formally approved by the New York State Department of Health, marking a significant milestone in the region’s healthcare landscape.
