TransImpact has acquired MCG Logistics, a California-based freight and parcel management and consulting company, for an undisclosed price.
The North Carolina-based supply chain technology and services company said that the acquisition helps in broadening its expertise in key industries such as consumer products, home products, and healthcare, while boosting capabilities in the ocean, air, and international logistics.

The acquisition is said to further grow the geographic presence of TransImpact with an office in California. The combined firm will have offices in North Carolina, California, and Ohio, with more than 170 employees.
