Tata Power and Neosym ink deal for 26MW Jamkhed solar power plant

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited, and a front-runner in India’s renewable energy sector, has signed a Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) with Neosym Industry Limited for the Jamkhed solar power plant. Neosym is a leading manufacturer in Gray & S.G. Iron casting in India. The partnership is for a 26 MW AC Group Captive Solar Plant situated at Jamkhed, Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.

The Green Impact: Numbers that Matter

The Jamkhed solar power plant is expected to commence operations by March 2024, with an estimated electricity generation capacity of 59 million units per year. The plant aligns with India’s climate goals by projecting to reduce approximately 32,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Both TPREL and Neosym demonstrate a firm commitment to environmental stewardship through this collaboration.
