The Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project is a 508km NHSRCL-built corridor across Maharashtra, Gujarat and the Dadra and Nagar Haveli section of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, backed by India-Japan funding and designed for 320km/h operations, with the first Surat-Bilimora section scheduled for 2027.
