Air India, SkyDrive and Suzuki will examine whether compact electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft can move urgent medical supplies across congested Indian cities. The opportunity is credible, but certification, payload economics and ground infrastructure will determine whether the proposal becomes a commercial network.
