Royal Enfield unveils exclusive Shotgun 650 Motoverse edition in Goa: Limited to 25 units
After decades of leading the custom culture, Royal Enfield has made a significant move by unveiling the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition in Goa. This unique, custom-inspired roadster is not just a motorcycle; it’s a statement in design and exclusivity. Priced at INR 4,25,000 (ex-showroom), this limited edition is available for booking until midnight November 25, exclusively for the Motoverse community.
The Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition stands out with its custom-designed colourway, limited to only 25 units globally. This makes it a rare opportunity for motorcycle enthusiasts to own a piece of Royal Enfield’s history. The deliveries of these custom motorcycles will commence in January 2024.
Built on the 650-Twin platform, the Shotgun 650 is a nod to the culture of customization, drawing inspiration from the SG650 Concept with its neo-destopian design. Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd., emphasized the motorcycle’s blend of Royal Enfield’s DNA with the spirit of custom culture. The Shotgun 650 is described as a modular, shape-shifting machine, offering a unique riding experience.
Mark Wells, Chief of Design at Royal Enfield, shared insights into the design process. The Shotgun 650 was envisioned as a leap into the future, retaining elements like the cast aluminium nascelle and angular bodywork from the SG650 Concept. Its design celebrates custom culture and offers a perfect canvas for customization.
The Shotgun 650 combines tradition and progress. It features a revolutionary modular design, allowing it to transform from a single-seater to a dual-seater or a weekend tourer. The motorcycle boasts a robust 650cc engine, blacked-out with gloss black engine covers, and a custom exhaust system.
This limited edition embodies the spirit of originality and self-expression, granting its owners membership to an exclusive club. The production model of the Shotgun 650 will be launched globally early next year, starting in Europe and India.
