RattanIndia subsidiary Revolt Motors opens dealership in Visakhapatnam

RattanIndia Enterprises said that its subsidiary Revolt Motors, a manufacturer of electric motorcycles, has opened its first dealership in Andhra Pradesh at Visakhapatnam.

The new location is Revolt Motors’ 15th retail store in India.

Citing the increasing cost of petrol and the desire to satisfy the demand of the consumers, Revolt Motors plans to increase its sales channels and boost its retail footprint by foraying into 60 additional cities across India. These would include Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Delhi NCR in the early 2022 timeframe.

In October 2021, the Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer opened retail stores in Bengaluru, Surat, and Jaipur and had announced bookings of its flagship RV400 electric bike across 70 cities.

According to RattanIndia Enterprises, the new stores will be established by retail partners across the major cities. The conglomerate said that in the wake of the booming demand for Revolt bikes, the new stores will concentrate on India-centric, flexible, and cost-effective innovations that can fuel the growth of electric mobility, in line with the goal of making India self-sufficient.

The new centers will not only serve as sales points for Revolt Motors, but will also offer customers the chance to experience electric bikes and explore the design, charging process, and how the installation of the charging points takes place. Customers will also get to know their own riding habits following testing.

Revolt Motors is claimed to have seen a strong response from buyers for the RV400 electric motorcycle that was quickly sold out after being put on sale each time. Additionally, Revolt Motors is making use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve and provide an in-house-developed customer experience that is completely contactless. The RV400 electric motorcycle brand is now operational in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad
