NIIT subsidiary RPS Consulting appoints Francis Jacob as president

NIIT said that its subsidiary — RPS Consulting has appointed Francis Jacob as its president as well as business head.

Recently, the Indian corporate training company had acquired a 70% stake in RPS Consulting. The latter caters to experienced technology professionals with training programs on emerging digital technologies for particularly addressing the requirements of global systems integrators and capability centers of big multinational firms.

Prasad Balakrishnan — CEO and Executive Director of RPS Consulting said: “Both NIIT and RPS Consulting are leading names in the technology training industry.

According to NIIT, Francis Jacob is a senior leader with more than 20 years of experience in the tech industry. He had been in leadership roles at Wipro, IBM, HP, Avaya and other global organizations.

Francis Jacob is said to have vast experience and expertise in scaling technology and training business in India as well as the Asia Pacific region. Most recently, he was the Director for Oracle University Asia Pacific region.
