US fast casual seafood restaurant chain Captain D’s has opened its newest franchise location in Lewisburg, Tennessee, as per the latest restaurant industry news.

The new restaurant, which is located at 1200 North Ellington Parkway, is the 72nd location for Captain D’s in Tennessee, which is also its home state.  The fast casual seafood restaurant chain said that the new location reinforces its continued focus on Southeastern development.

The Lewisburg location has been opened following a recent agreement signed by Trident Holdings, consisting of Chris Benner and Tim Stokes, through which the duo purchased eight corporate-owned Captain D’s locations in Mississippi with plans to develop 10 new fast casual seafood restaurants under the brand throughout the state, and also in major Southeast target markets such as Tennessee, Louisiana, and Georgia.
