Knights Group Holdings acquires commercial law firm Keebles for £11.54m

Knights Group Holdings plc, a UK-based legal and professional services provider, has closed its previously announced £11.54 million acquisition of Keebles LLP, a commercial law firm mainly based in Sheffield.

The cash-cum-stock deal was announced last month.

Keebles, which was established in Sheffield more than 100 years ago, is said to have a strong offering for corporate and real estate, with a top position in South Yorkshire.

The acquisition involves 138 fee earners joining Knights Group Holdings. It enables the foray of legal and professional services provider into Sheffield and complements its existing footprint in Nottingham and Leeds.

Besides, the acquisition of Keebles is said to bolster the presence of Knights Group Holdings in Yorkshire, which aligns with the latter’s strategy to expedite its organic growth via cautiously targeted acquisitions that are a strong cultural fit.

For the year ending 30 April 2020, the independent commercial law firm registered £12.7 million in revenue.
