Venus Pipes & Tubes announces strategic expansion into fittings and capacity enhancement
In a significant strategic move, Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd, a prominent name among stainless steel pipes and tubes manufacturers and exporters in India, has announced its foray into the fittings business, alongside a comprehensive capacity expansion plan for its seamless and welded pipes and tubes. The expansion encompasses a two-phased approach, targeting the introduction of value-added fittings and welded tubes in the first phase, to be completed by March 2025. The second phase, expected to conclude by December 2025, will further extend the company’s offerings to include both welded and seamless pipes and tubes. The total investment for these phases is estimated at Rs 175 crores, with the funding model comprising 40% from warrants issued to promoters and others, and 60% through a combination of term loans from banks and internal accruals.
