The alleged death of Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Mann Singh Pannu, following a reported accident, is currently circulating on social media. It is claimed that the leader of the banned terror group Sikhs for Justice met his demise in California, USA. However, the validity of this information remains unconfirmed.

One of the first to announce Pannu’s supposed death on Twitter was a user by the name of MJ. Following this initial claim, other social media users started to report the same. As reported by Dainik Bhaskar, Pannu was said to have met a fatal end on US Highway 101, yet this claim lacks official confirmation. It’s known that Pannu has been keeping a low profile for some time.

The report from Dainik Bhaskar further claimed that Pannu had turned off his mobile phone to hide his location. This came after the deaths of other Khalistani terrorists Paramjit Singh Panjwar, Avtar Singh Khanda, and Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Fearing for his safety, Pannu supposedly went into hiding. In his last known video, he blamed officials of the Indian Embassy in Canada and America for the killing of Khalistan terrorists.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is a US-based attorney who is known for his involvement in the Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) organization, a group that advocates for the creation of an independent Sikh state, or Khalistan, in India’s Punjab region.

Pannun has often been in the spotlight for his controversial activities, including filing lawsuits against Indian politicians and initiating campaigns against the Indian government. However, it’s important to note that his activities and the organization he’s linked with, SFJ, have been labeled as secessionist and have been banned by the Indian government.

Retired Maj Gen Harsha Kakar shared on Twitter that if Pannu’s death rumors prove true, it could deliver a severe blow to the secessionist movement. He mentioned that Pannu’s death, following the demise of three other terrorists, could significantly hamper the Khalistani movement.

The death rumor is further fueled by several reports of Khalistani terrorists’ deaths in the recent past. However, several Twitter users, including The Hawk Eye, debunked this claim, stating that the alleged image of Pannu’s accident dates back to 2019, and not a recent event.

Sukhi Chahal, founder and editor of Khalsa Times, denied the rumors about Pannu’s death, labeling them as fake news. In his tweet, he urged everyone to refrain from disseminating such misleading information.

Notably, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, another Khalistani terrorist, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Surrey on June 18. Additionally, on June 15, Avtar Singh Khanda, chief of the banned Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), passed away in a London hospital. Earlier, on May 6, Paramjit Singh Panjwar, leader of the banned Khalistan Commando Force (KCF), was gunned down in Lahore city, Pakistan.
