Infosys Q2 FY2023 net profit up by 11% YoY to Rs 60.2bn

Q2 FY2023 results : Indian IT major Infosys has reported a net profit of INR 6,021 crores for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (Q2 FY2023) that ended 30 September 2022, an increase of 11%, compared to INR 5,421 crores in Q2 FY2022.

In the first quarter of FY2023, the company made INR 5,360 crores in net profit.

The diluted earnings per share (EPS) for Infosys in Q2 FY2023 was INR 14.34, an increase of 11.6% year-over-year (YoY) compared to INR 12.85 in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Infosys earned revenues of INR 36,538 crores in the reported quarter, which is a 23.4% increase compared to INR 29,602 crores in Q2 FY2022.

In Q1 FY2023, Infosys’ revenues were INR 34,470 crores.

Commenting on Infosys Q2 FY2023 results, — Infosys CEO and MD said: “Our strong large deal wins and steady all-round growth in Q2 reflect the deep relevance and differentiation of our digital and cloud solutions for clients as they navigate their business transformation.

“While concerns around the economic outlook persist, our demand pipeline is strong as clients remain confident in our ability to deliver the value they seek, both on the growth and efficiency of their businesses. This is reflected in our revised revenue guidance of 15%-16% for FY 23.”
