Infosys to re-appoint Salil Parekh as CEO and managing director
Infosys said that its board of directors has approved the re-appointment of Salil Parekh as the company’s CEO and managing director from 1 July 2022 to 31 March 2027.
The re-appointment will be conditional on the approval of shareholders, said the Indian IT tech giant.
Salil Parekh has been serving Infosys in the dual role since January 2018. He has over 30 years of experience around the world in the IT services industry with a track record of steering digital transformation for enterprises, executing business turnarounds, and handling acquisitions, said Infosys.

Previously, the current Infosys CEO was a member of Capgemini’s group executive board. At Capgemini, Salil Parekh is said to have been in various leadership positions for 25 years.
He was also a partner at professional services network Ernst & Young.
