Gallagher acquires claims investigation firm Terrier Claims Services

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said that Gallagher Bassett Services (GB), its risk management services subsidiary, has acquired Terrier Claims Services (TCS) and its affiliate – MT Investigations, based in Pleasantville, New York.

The financial terms of the deal were not revealed.

Established in 1996, Terrier Claims Services is a claims investigation firm.

The company is exclusively focused on insurance defense, third-party administrators, government agencies, and defense attorneys.

The team of Terrier Claims Services is said to undertake extensive field investigations, preparation of trials, and property adjusting services across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, apart from nationwide desktop investigations.

Terrier Claims Services will become an integral part of Gallagher Bassett Services’ construction practice.

According to Arthur J. Gallagher, Daniel Sullivan, David Perini, Edward Sullivan, and their associates will continue to work at their current locations under the leadership of Jim Bond, Executive VP – Gallagher Bassett Technical Services.
