Coforge to drive IT transformation of specialty insurer Tokio Marine HCC

Coforge Limited, an Indian digital services and solutions provider, has expanded its global partnership with Texas-based specialty insurance group Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) to drive the latter’s IT transformation.

Tokio Marine HCC has been working with since 2016 with the latter as its IT partner for its capabilities in digital process automation, which will now be extended into a global relationship.

The specialty insurance group has offices across the US, Mexico, the UK, and continental Europe.

Included under the scope of services are run, build, and transform for facilitating , increased , and doing more with less, said Coforge. The services cover development of digital platforms, which include UI/UX services, data, and analytical reporting, infrastructure services, and managed application services.

— Tokio Marine HCC Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer said: “Our strategic partnership with Coforge is a centrepiece in our drive towards digitalization of key business processes, as we gain operational efficiency and strive for new and innovative solutions.”

Tokio Marine HCC is said to be readjusting its IT capability into a product model structure for promoting agile, business-aligned delivery. This is part of a larger transformation initiative for delivering improved underwriting and risk solutions that are backed supported by better IT capabilities.

Coforge said that it is closely working with Tokio Marine HCC across the initiatives to deliver business value at pace while streamlining costs and lessening the risk of delivery.
