Cart.com acquires third-party logistics provider Sauceda Industries
Cart.com, a US-based end-to-end ecommerce-as-a-service provider, has acquired Sauceda Industries for an undisclosed price.
Based in Austin, Texas, Sauceda Industries is a third-party logistics (3PL) provider which offers fulfillment services to ecommerce brands.
Cart.com said that the transaction grows its existing fulfillment services, which provide optimized infrastructure for online merchants in order to compete with the largest retailers in the world.
Saheb Sabharwal — Chief Logistics Officer of Cart.com said: “We’re excited to have Sauceda join Cart.com as we grow our end-to-end nationwide logistics network to provide 1-2 day shipping for our fast-growing partner-brands.
“Our brand-obsessed operations experts provide not only end-to-end logistics expertise but also strategic guidance and seamless integration across the entire Cart.com ecommerce ecosystem — from using customer data to optimize inventory storage locations, to ensuring that marketing campaigns are targeted at geographies where stock is available.”
Founded in 2013 by Jay B. Sauceda, Sauceda Industries caters to brands that require complete omnichannel support. The 3PL provider has integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Amazon, Etsy, Magento, Walmart, eBay, and other major ecommerce platforms.
Sauceda Industries offers flexible and scalable services such as D2C fulfillment, B2B fulfillment, subscriptions fulfillment, storage-as-a-service, and FBA prep.
Jay B. Sauceda — CEO of Sauceda Industries said: “In the past eight years the Sauceda Industries team has shown that people-focused brands are served best by a brand-focused 3PL.
“By joining the Cart.com family, we’ll be able to bring that vision to an even bigger audience, and give brands across North America the scalable, customer and people-centric logistical support they need to realize their full potential.”
