Arthur J. Gallagher acquires employee benefit solutions firm Watkins Group

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Watkins Insurance & Benefits (dba Watkins Group — Insurance & Benefits Specialists) in Alexandria, Louisiana for an undisclosed price.

Watkins Group, which was established in 2008, provides corporations of all sizes with employee benefit solutions along with individual and Medicare coverage solutions. The company serves clients across Central Louisiana.

According to Arthur J. Gallagher, Wesley Watkins and his associates will continue in their existing location and work under Robby White, who is the South Central region leader for the employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations of the global insurance brokerage.
