DealerPolicy Insurance acquires insurance business from Granite State Independent Insurance

Vermont-based DealerPolicy Insurance Agency has acquired the insurance business associated with New Hampshire-based Granite State Independent Insurance, for an undisclosed price.

Granite State Independent Insurance will stop its operations effective with the deal.

The company’s personal and commercial insurance customers will now be served by DealerPolicy Insurance Agency and its commercial insurance unit – Winooski Insurance.

Granite State Independent Insurance is owned by the AutoServ family of businesses, which in turn is owned by the Gaudet Family.

AutoServ has been operating in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire for more than three decades.
