Farmers Business Network (FBN), an AgTech platform, announced today the introduction of AcreVision to empower farmers by providing comprehensive and accurate information, facilitating informed decisions regarding land purchases.

Research conducted by Farmers Business Network reveals that a staggering 93% of farmers undertake land research before acquiring farmland, and AcreVision is designed to streamline this process.

The AcreVision platform grants US farmers free access to key data necessary for evaluating potential parcels. The platform provides an extensive range of information, encompassing tillable acres, productivity index, cropping history, soil type maps, terrain wetness, comparable sales, and cropping history.

The service covers over 630 million acres and 15 million parcels, integrating dozens of public datasets into proprietary analytical models. This enables growers to fully envision the potential of the land parcels under consideration. Notably, individual grower data is not utilized in these farmland evaluations.

This launch comes amidst a wave of momentum for Farmers Business Network, which recently introduced its “Instant Approval” land financing option, aimed at providing quicker and more accessible capital access to eligible applicants. Farmers Business Network has also unveiled an AI-powered chatbot, Norm, to offer agronomic guidance, marking a significant stride in the industry.

The launch of AcreVision underscores Farmers Business Network’s commitment to using data-driven insights to enhance the prosperity of family farmers globally, a key part of their mission to revolutionize the agricultural industry.

Dan English — Farmers Business Network Finance GM said: “Land is the most vital asset to farming operations.

“While the residential real estate industry has developed a range of tools to help value homes and land, that level of intelligence has been largely absent from the agricultural world. AcreVision empowers producers by providing them with the critical data they need to make informed decisions about their land and potential land acquisitions.”
