Adani Total Gas gets LOI for 11 GAs in PNGRB’s 11th CGD Bidding Round

Adani Total Gas Limited said that it has received letters of intent (LoI) from the Indian Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to develop city gas distribution (CGD) networks under the 11th CGD Bidding Round.

The company bagged LOI for 11 geographical areas (Gas) across the states of Assam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Odisha.

PNGRB had opened the 11th CGD Bidding Round in September 2021 for developing CGD networks in 65 geographical areas, spanning 208 districts across 19 states and one union territory.

Adani Total Gas had bid for 50 geographical areas in the bidding round.

The company is jointly owned by the Adani Group and French oil and gas giant TotalEnergies. It is involved in developing CGD networks to supply piped natural gas to the industrial, commercial, residential customers as well as compressed natural gas (CNG) to the transport sector.
