Accenture to acquire Brazil-based sustainability consultancy Green Domus
Accenture has announced its intent to acquire Green Domus Desenvolvimento Sustentável LTDA, a Brazil-based sustainability consultancy specializing in decarbonization strategies.
The acquisition aims to strengthen Accenture‘s Sustainability Services team. Green Domus brings deep expertise in sustainability frameworks and will provide clients with solutions to embed carbon data into decision-making processes.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Green Domus, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Brazil, has two decades of industry experience in enhancing carbon measurement and net zero transition capabilities. Its customized mitigation plans based on feasible reduction targets have delivered cost savings for clients across diverse sectors.
The consultancy supports various sustainability projects, including product lifecycle assessments, materiality assessments, and sectoral analytics.

The acquisition will enable Accenture to offer clients enhanced sustainability services and advance global sustainability initiatives. Green Domus’s expertise in sustainability frameworks such as the Science Based Targets initiative and emerging regulatory schemes like the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism will be instrumental in helping clients achieve their sustainability goals.

The transaction’s completion is contingent on customary closing conditions. Once finalized, Accenture and Green Domus will collaborate to provide innovative solutions and drive sustainable practices.
