Wipro partners with vFunction to advance cloud native modernization

Wipro has entered into a joint go-to market partnership with vFunction, a Palo Alto-based company that has built a technology platform for modernizing Java applications and expediting migration to the cloud.

According to the Indian IT services company, the partnership will bolster the position of Wipro FullStride Cloud Services as one of the top providers of digital transformation solutions as well as help advance its commitment to speeding up cloud innovation for clients.

Along with the partnership, Wipro’s corporate investment arm — Wipro Ventures has invested an undisclosed amount in vFunction’s Series A funding round.

vFunction is said to help enterprises to remove the constraints pertaining to time, risk, and costs needed for modernizing business applications.

The company’s joint offering with Wipro will combine its capabilities with Wipro FullStride Cloud Services to assist clients across a variety of sectors to simplify their move to cloud.
