Wipro, Oracle introduce tollway transportation and billing solution
Wipro has joined forces with Oracle to launch the Wipro Tollway Transportation and Billing solution aimed at boosting commuters’ experience while helping tollway authorities with enhanced profitability.
The Indian IT company is a modernized oracle partner network (OPN) registered partner of Oracle.
According to Wipro, tollway authorities are faced with a myriad of issues driven by changing market dynamics, including the shift to cashless operations and the anticipated changes in traffic patterns to operational inefficiencies and shifting customer expectations.
By using the Wipro Tollway Transportation and Billing cloud-based solution, tollway officials can enhance customer service across all touchpoints with data-driven insights and maintaining a 360-degree perspective, said Wipro.
Wipro Tollway Transportation and Billing solution can handle multiple transactions each year, assisting tollway officials better navigate the management of customer accounts, processing of transactions, transponder inventory management, grievance case management, as well as financial reconciliation and reporting.

Through streamlining the processes with Wipro Tollway Transportation and Billing solution, authorities can boost the efficiency of their operations and eliminate leaks in revenue with the cloud-based solution, claimed Wipro. The Indian IT company said that this can be achieved through the integration of customer portals, operational and commercial back-office systems and modules, as well as financial system, toll-tag accounts along with third-party gateways for payment.
