Wipro opens multi-million-dollar Americas headquarters in East Brunswick

Indian IT company Wipro has opened its Americas headquarters in East Brunswick, New Jersey, which has involved an investment to the tune of multi-million dollars as per New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy.

According to Wipro, the recently revamped East Brunswick office is said to reaffirm its constant commitment to customers across the Americas region, which make up about 60% of its worldwide revenue.

Wipro employs around 20,500 people spread throughout the US, Canada, and LATAM (Mexico and Brazil).

Governor Phil Murphy said: “By locating its new multi-million-dollar office in the heart of our state, this renowned tech giant will significantly boost economic activity in New Jersey. We look forward to the numerous ways in which Wipro will contribute to – and benefit from – our thriving innovation ecosystem.”

The company’s US top management team operates in the East Brunswick office and includes both Chief Executive Officers of the Americas, Srini Pallia, and Suzanne Dann, as well as COO Amit Choudhary.

An event to celebrate the new location was held on the 6th of March and included all of the Wipro executive team, employees, customers, as well as officials from the government in attendance as the company intends to use the facility to interact with important customers based in the Garden State.

The East Brunswick office of Wipro will provide services to customers from various industries, including finance and banking as well as life sciences, healthcare and media, retail, telecoms as well as entertainment and gaming, technology, travel, and transport as well as manufacturing, and energy and utilities.
