Vintage Coffee and Beverages Limited (VCBL), a prominent name in the coffee industry, has officially launched commercial production of its fully automated packaging line. This significant milestone, announced on 31 October 2024, comes months ahead of the previously planned January 2025 timeline. The production commenced at Vintage Coffee Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary located near Hyderabad, marking a pivotal enhancement in its manufacturing capabilities.

The new packaging line aims to bolster VCBL’s position in global markets, notably in consumer pack exports, which are anticipated to increase by 25%. Such exports, commanding higher realisation than bulk shipments, present a substantial boost to revenue and strategic market reach. This development aligns with VCBL’s strategy to diversify and enhance its product offerings, improving margins and driving growth.

Balakrishna Tati, Chairman and Managing Director of VCBL, emphasised that this advancement underlines the company’s commitment to innovation and service excellence. He highlighted that the new packaging unit would enable VCBL to better cater to value-added products, specifically in high-demand regions such as the Middle East, Europe, Russia, and West Africa. This initiative, Tati indicated, supports VCBL’s broader vision of expanding volumes while optimising the product mix.
