Vestas has bagged a contract to supply wind turbines for a 194MW wind farm in Brazil from an undisclosed customer.
The Danish wind turbine manufacturer will deliver 43 of its V150-4.5 MW turbines for the Brazilian wind farm.
Vestas has also entered into a five-year service agreement with the customer.
The Danish wind turbine maker expects to make deliveries of the turbines and their subsequent commissioning in 2024.
Following this order, Vestas’ firm order intake of the V150-4.2 MW and V150-4.5 MW wind turbines in Brazil has crossed 6.5GW.
