Unilever has wrapped up the €4.5 billion sale of ekaterra tea business to the CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII.
ekaterra has a portfolio of 34 brands such as Lipton, PG tips, Pukka, T2, and TAZO.
The deal was announced in November 2021.
It excludes the tea business of Unilever in India, Indonesia, and Nepal and the company’s interests in the Pepsi Lipton ready-to-drink tea joint ventures and related distribution businesses.
