Trella Health acquires CRM and EMR platform provider PlayMaker Health
Trella Health, an Atlanta-based healthcare data analytics firm, has acquired PlayMaker Health for an undisclosed price.
PlayMaker Health, which is based in Brentwood, Tennessee, had developed post-acute customer relationship management (CRM) and electronic medical record (EMR) referral management system.
The company caters to home health, hospice, hospice medical equipment (HME), infusion, and long-term care agencies and organizations.
According to Trella Health, the addition of PlayMaker Health, enables it to infuse its actionable market intelligence and customer experience capabilities with the latter’s mobile-first CRM offering.
J. Scott Tapp — President and CEO of Trella Health said: “We are thrilled to increase our investment into our customers’ success.
“Now, they’ll have a single platform to help them focus their strategy, empower sales and marketing, and advance their business. In addition, this acquisition adds a fantastic group of industry experts to our team, while opening the door to new adjacent end markets, including home medical equipment (HME) and infusion.”
For Trella Health, the acquisition of PlayMaker Health follows a growth investment it had secured recently from Cressey & Company and Panoramic Ventures (formerly BIP Capital). The company said that expanding its product capabilities will support healthcare providers further in confidently advancing their organizations.
Gregg Boyle — CEO of PlayMaker Health said: “The blend of these two solutions is truly a gamechanger for the industry, and I’m looking forward to seeing the impact it will have for post-acute care going forward.”
