Trella Health acquires CRM and EMR platform provider PlayMaker Health

Trella Health, an Atlanta-based healthcare data analytics firm, has acquired PlayMaker Health for an undisclosed price.

PlayMaker Health, which is based in Brentwood, Tennessee, had developed post-acute customer relationship management (CRM) and electronic medical record (EMR) referral management system.

The company caters to home health, hospice, hospice medical equipment (HME), infusion, and long-term care agencies and organizations.

According to Trella Health, the addition of PlayMaker Health, enables it to infuse its actionable market intelligence and customer experience capabilities with the latter’s mobile-first CRM offering.

For Trella Health, the acquisition of PlayMaker Health follows a growth investment it had secured recently from Cressey & Company and Panoramic Ventures (formerly BIP Capital). The company said that expanding its product capabilities will support healthcare providers further in confidently advancing their organizations.
