This is the snack Indian kids can’t get enough of—Find out why!
ITC Limited’s brand, Sunfeast, has once again demonstrated its innovative edge with the launch of the ‘Super Egg & Milk Biscuit’, a new snack aimed at revolutionizing the way children consume essential nutrients. During a creative conference featuring humorous exchanges between hen and cow representatives, the importance of eggs and milk in children’s diets was humorously yet effectively highlighted. This set the tone for the unveiling of a product that combines these core nutrients in a single delicious biscuit.
Following the quirky introduction, a panel of nutrition experts and celebrities, including Madan Mohan Maiti from the National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC) West Bengal, Dr. Dulal Chandra Sen of the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) East Zone, and Clinical Nutritionist Dr. Ananya Bhowmik, discussed the critical role of eggs and milk in child development. They emphasized the challenge parents face in making these essential nutrients appealing and convenient for young consumers.
The launch event revealed the ‘Super Egg & Milk Biscuit’, designed by ITC’s product development team to be both nutritious and tasty, fulfilling a market need for convenient nutritional options for children. Ali Harris Shere, Chief Operating Officer of the Biscuits and Cakes Cluster at ITC Foods, highlighted how this product is set to ease the daily dietary challenges faced by parents. The biscuits are available at various price points—Rs. 5, Rs. 10, and Rs. 30—making them accessible to a broad audience across South and East India, with plans for a national rollout soon.
As part of ITC’s commitment to enhancing the dietary habits of Indian families, this product aligns with the company’s broader ‘Help India Eat Better’ strategy. This approach leverages ITC’s capabilities in agri-science and consumer insights to develop food solutions that are both healthy and adapted to modern lifestyles.
