Tech Mahindra to help Vodafone Germany transform sales and customer experience
Tech Mahindra, an Indian IT services provider, said that it has expanded its partnership with Vodafone Germany to help the latter transform its sales as well as customer experience processes.
In this multi-year partnership, Comviva, a Tech Mahindra company, will offer an integrated sales solution that spans the fixed, mobile, cable, and TV services of Vodafone Germany.
The partnership between Tech Mahindra and Vodafone Germany was announced in the year 2019, and the focus has been on improving the sales experience for assisted sales.
The new partnership will focus on the transformation of non-assisted digital sales channels and enhancing the overall purchasing experience.
Manoranjan Mohapatra — Comviva CEO said “Today, customers use a variety of touchpoints to engage both digitally and offline and a unified integrated customer experience across all channels is paramount.
“Our partnership shall deliver a more comprehensive view of customer journeys and enhanced omnichannel experiences. We are extremely excited about this partnership, and it shall serve as a great foundation for personalization efforts, while also empowering organizational efficiency.”
Comviva has rolled out its BlueMarble platform, which has an extensive array of uses that encompass digital commerce, catalogs, order management and customer service. The initial phase of the engagement with Vodafone Germany focused on creating an integrated platform that could provide a 360-degree view of customers across retail and telesales.
The second phase will enhance the convergence of digital channels and assist Vodafone Germany in extending on-demand customized solution bundles to customers on the channels they prefer.
Comviva’s BlueMarble is an open-source commerce and order management, as well as partnership management, and customer service digital platform. It’s a 5G ready cloud-native, microservices-based open digital platform that improves business efficiency through personalized customer journeys and experiences.
Ulrich Irnich — Vodafone Germany CIO said: “We are a customer-obsessed organization. Our expanded partnership and choice of ODA-compliant cloud-native Comviva platform will enable us to enhance the customer experience even further, driving personalization at scale and further optimizing experience across online and in-store.
“The new solution shall help us align teams around a single view of the customer, with insights and activation capabilities that will make experiences even more seamless, connected and relevant.”
