TCS to train 25,000 associates on Azure Open AI, launches new AI offering

Indian IT services provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced plans to significantly augment its Azure Open AI expertise and roll out a new Generative AI Enterprise Adoption offering on the Cloud.

The aim is to enable clients to initiate their generative AI journey effectively, thus fuelling their growth and transformation agendas.

Tata Consultancy Services, with over 50,000 artificial intelligence (AI)-trained professionals and the dedicated Microsoft Business Unit (MBU), has been assisting customers in their AI journeys through its data analytics and AI services on the .

As a member of Microsoft’s AI Council, a recognized partner in Data and AI, and having specializations in AI and on Azure and analytics on Azure, TCS aims to certify another 25,000 associates in Azure Open AI to help clients speed up their adoption of this innovative technology.

The company has also launched its Generative AI Enterprise Adoption offering, an offering that leverages Tata Consultancy Services’ contextual knowledge and Azure Open AI expertise to help clients enhance customer experiences, launch new business models, boost revenue, and increase productivity.

Tata Consultancy Services and client teams will work together to develop AI-led solutions to pressing business issues, develop proofs of concept on Azure Open AI, create solution roadmaps, gather stakeholder feedback, and deploy the solutions.

This co-innovation can take place at TCS Pace Ports, innovation and research hubs located globally, where teams can also benefit from work conducted by academic researchers and start-up partners from Tata Consultancy Services’ innovation ecosystem.

Tata Consultancy Services will additionally help clients accelerate software development and enhance programmer productivity through services around GitHub Copilot, a generative AI tool built on Azure OpenAI’s language models.

Beyond assisting clients with Azure Open AI, Tata Consultancy Services is enhancing its own product suite, such as TCS Optumera, a retail strategic intelligence platform that uses generative AI to optimize merchandising and supply chain decisions.

Tata Consultancy Services aids customers in establishing a robust foundation for their AI initiatives, using clean data from well-managed and integrated analytics systems. It employs its own data and analytics solutions like TCS Daezmo and TCS Datom for this purpose.
