Tata Motors sells 2,28,169 vehicles in Q3FY23 at 14% YoY growth
Tata Motors Limited said that it sold 2,28,169 vehicles in the domestic and international markets during Q3FY23, which is a 14% increase compared to 1,99,634 vehicles sold in Q3FY22.
The total domestic sales of Tata Motors vehicles in Q3FY22 were 2,23,001 units, which is a year-over-year (YoY) growth of 17.7%. In December 2022, the Indian automobile manufacturer sold 72,997 vehicles in the domestic market.
Tata Motors’ sale of commercial vehicles in Q3FY23 in India was 91,704 units, which is an increase of 1.3% compared to Q3FY22. Overall, the automobile manufacturer sold 95,914 commercial vehicles during the reported quarter in both domestic and international markets, which is a 4.2% decline compared to 1,00,070 commercial vehicles sold in Q3 FY22.

The company sold 1,31,297 passenger vehicles in India in Q3FY23, which is a 32.6% growth compared to Q3FY22. A total of 1,32,255 passenger vehicles were sold by Tata Motors in Q3FY23 in the domestic and international markets, which is an increase of 32.8% compared to 99,564 passenger vehicles sold in Q3 FY22.
